Published Works
I am an indie published author, and I am passionate about supporting other indie authors.
Currently, I have more WIPs (works in progress) than I do published works.
Carnage in D minor: A novel (available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble)
Carnage in D Minor is an adaptation of the screenplay 'Dissension.' Carnage in D Minor is a novel adaptation of Dissension, featuring a female protagonist. This version tells the story of the character I always wanted to write: A strong Black woman, soldier, wife, mother, and successful healthcare provider. She epitomizes courage through adversity and perseverance through endless challenges. And she never loses the ability to see beauty amongst the carnage. I’ve known people like her, and their inspiration is what keeps me going.
Dissension: A screenplay (spec script available in paperback)
A veteran Army nurse with PTSD and addiction becomes obsessed with finding a treatment to manage his condition. It's a race against the clock as he struggles with a failing marriage and an ex-lover-turned-drug dealer and stalker.
Carnage in D minor: A screenplay (spec script available in paperback)
Carnage in D Minor is a version of Dissension featuring a female protagonist. Though the protagonists grew up very differently, their lives are tragically similar following a deployment in a war zone.
Coming to a theater near you…
I have teamed up with a film production company to write a horror movie. As of this writing, the script is getting some final touches, and pre-production will begin in the near future. Updates will be shared on this website as they become available. Fun fact: I submitted my screenplay 'Dissension' to this production company to see if they would be interested in buying it. They loved it - but it wasn't the screenplay they wanted - it was me. They wanted to hire me to write a script based on a concept they had but were unable to finish. That screenplay is now in its final polish before sending it into the world for production. If all this sounds vague, just keep in mind I signed an NDA. Stay tuned!
